Flash, Video Recording, Performance Improvements Coming To WebOS 1.4 in February

by PalmWebOS.org on January 7th, 2010

Some much needed improvements are coming to WebOS in the very near future in the form of WebOS 1.4. Come February, those upgrading to WebOS 1.4 will enjoy the delight of Flash 10.1 pre-installed and the ability to video record.

Palm is promising other improvements ranging from more efficient processing power and battery life improvements quicker web browsing and other upgrades you’d likely hear. In my opinion, it’s the addition of video recording that has been most sorely missed and most welcomed to the mix. How about you?

Shouldn’t this site die a peaceful date? No upates beyond 2010, Palm doesn’t even own WebOS anymore, and now HP has “killed” support for it

So, why have this site still somewhere on the “Internets”

Zero-emission vehicles are all the rage these days, with everyone from Nissan to Cadillac jumping on board, but the latest creation from Hyundai China is green in an entirely different way. To celebrate the company’s all-new Azera sedan, a full-scale model was created out of nothing more than steel tubing, styrofoam, and a bit of plastic. The best part? The realistic-looking knockoff is powered by pedals in the drivers “seat” of the car and can be driven around just like the real thing.

The build team created a pair of videos that include a time-lapse of the build as well as the odd looks the car gets when it pulls up to a gas pump and valet station. Onlookers appear puzzled but charmed at the paper-thin frame of the car, though most appear hesitant to actually take a seat behind the wheel.
