Facebook for webOSPalm has gone and released the Palm Facebook application by way of the App Catalog and it has come completely out of left field for us as none of us had any idea it was coming today. Of course we downloaded it and immediately gave it a shot.

Upon opening it and signing in we noticed that there was a syncing notice at the bottom that read “syncing accounts”, This notice stayed at the bottom of our screen for roughly 8-10 minutes. This was on a very fast T1 Wi-Fi internet connection and is completely beyond us as to just what was being synced and why it took so long. The basic interface is just that, basic. You can view status, comments, pictures and all of that jazz and you have the ability to like and comment on people’s status.  You can even attach pictures and what not to your status posts as you make them.

Currently the Palm Facebook application has a rating of 3 out of 5 stars which I can see as most users will either love or hate this application. In comparison to others that I have seen this is nothing special but you have to remember this is much better than the other 4 methods of accessing Facebook on webOS. No need to go blow any cash on some crappy Facebook app any longer. Let us know in the comments what you think!
