When I delete a message, it can take 10 - 20 seconds before I can see the next message. 1.3.1 cannot be released soon enough. But I would KILL for less latency. It can be d***ed frustrating sometimes. Most of my speed frustrations revolve around latency in button presses when ending calls, dialing numbers, or unlocking the phone. I've solved my battery life issues by purchasing an extended life battery, which made a world of difference for me. But, again, I love my Pre. I love my Pre. But I would KILL for less latency.
