After recently showing up in Sprint’s inventory sheets the Palm Pixi, codenamed the “PALM120HK” has been accompanied by another item that goes by the name “PAML120PNK.” This item is a kit which means it probably comes with a pink back cover among other items.

The Pixi is clearly aimed as being the more affordable webOS device meant more for the mass market. We believe it will be the phone that fills in the space that the Palm Centro leaves behind. Many of Sprint’s phones offer a pink “kit” so there is no clear indication that this particular item will be pink but we know it wont be your standard standalone Pixi in a box.

Bold move from Palm in my eyes, now why didn’t they do this with the Pre? There is still no word on pricing or even availability for that matter. Cross your fingers and hope to see this item launching at the same time as the regular Pixi.
