WebOS 1.2 to launch by October 2nd?
| by Shawn Brown on September 28th, 2009 |
How many times will we get our hopes up of seeing a webOS 1.2 update based on rumors only to see all hope crushed soon after? Well if you’re sick of getting let down stop reading right now because another rumored release date has surfaced.

As of now word on the street is that webOS 1.2 is going to drop by the end of the week, so by October 2nd. This might just be a bunch of bull considering it seems that every time we get a new date its sometime next week, I could do that forever and eventually be correct one of these times so take it with a grain of salt.
The delay is said to be an issue with Sprint’s data services rather than the broken iTunes sync that Palm should be ready for with every release. What new features are you most looking forward to? Personally I text message a lot so having contact pictures show up with notifications and the LED notifications are what’s killing me. I also have been waiting for the option to download pictures from the browser.
