Since the launch of the Palm Pre we have seen the price drop from $299 with $99 rebate making it $200 to $149 and accidentally to $99 via a mistake made by Best Buy but now the price has legitimately dropped to just $99 all thanks to Amazon.

Amazon is responsible for offering the Pre at the lowest price in the US. If you’re looking to pick one up now is your chance as we don’t see the price dropping much lower than that anytime in the near future. Is this drop in anticipation of the Palm Pixi or will we see it drop once more before if hits shelves? For those of you holding out is this price point enough for you to break down and pick one up?
