Introducing WebOS Repair Utility
| by Shawn Brown on September 24th, 2009 |
As many of you have found out hacking the new revolutionary webOS operating system can’t help add functionality and customization not previously available such as the on-screen virtual keyboard. As with all file modification this runs the risk of seriously corrupting files.

Luckily there is now and app for that. Palms WebOSDoctor helps correct any problems you may have caused yourself essentially making it impossible to brick your handset. WebOSDoctor isn’t perfect however, this program completely erases all of your data so you have to start from a clean slate.
The unofficial WebOS Repair Utility is just what we have been looking for. With this utility you can scan the handset for files that are not out of the box and help restore them after restoring your handset with WebOSDoctor. Thie WebOS Repair Utility is still very new and will have a few bugs here and there but this is a work in progress as is everything in homebrew.
