We now have the release of the new webOS Quick Install v2.5 complete with support for changing your webOS theme. Other than themes there have been a few other useful changes as outlined below.

• Completely redone patcher code

• Full theming support

• Added/updated many system mods

• Added “Messaging Mods” section

• Added virtual keyboard config settings

A lot of work went into the patcher behind the tweaks section that is apparently a lot more accurate and overall safer over the previous one. This also allows new modifications to be added to the Tweak section much quicker than before. This also opens the door for quicker compatibility when webOS 1.2 is pushed to devices.

More mods have also been added to the Tweaks section because what would a tweak section be like if it didn’t always have new content added to it? Many of the mods are for the messaging section and include, landscape mode, character counter and adding an avatar just to name a few. The virtual keyboard also has a few additions like click tone and haptic feedback. Let us know what you think about the changes.
