We have all heard plenty about the GSM version of the Palm Pre launching overseas and the dispute between third party retailers and Palm with unlocked units. There is still no definite price point or release date but O2’s Germany site is telling us it will be sometime in “Autumn.”

There are even teaser videos launching in Europe hinting yet again that the launch date is coming sometime soon. It seems everyone is watching and waiting for this GSM version from those overseas to even some of us here who just hate CDMA networks any way you look at it. Too bad we won’t be seeing a GSM version here in the states that runs on our 3G networks.

The closest to a date we have thus far is October 30^th which to this day is still nothing more than a rumor. If the 30^th is a correct date they better get their stuff together and announce it already or people will be scrambling.
