It has been a big week for Palm with the announcement of the Palm Pixi and it making an appearance at the Mercedes-Benz fashion Week. To top off a good week Palm CEO Jon Rubinstein went on as the first special guest for the first ever premier of The Engadget Show (airing soon).

From what we hear Jon spoke of what is being called “candid thoughts” about Palm’s new smartphone. All this hype around the Pixi is going to draw a lot of attention to the premier of The Engadget Show; hopefully we get some much-needed answers to our questions.

Jon did not come to the taping without bearing gifts, and what other gift would you expect from the CEO of Palm than free Touchstone charging docks for everyone there.
