Since the release of the Pre, Palm and Apple have been going back and fourth on the issue of syncing media on the Pre with iTunes. First we were able to with no trouble, then Apple began blocking us only to eventually fail with Palm regaining the upper hand.

Apple has announced iTunes 9 and you guessed it, the Palm Pre does not sync so nicely with the popular software. As usual we suspect Palm will slip in a new fix that will enable syncing once only to have Apple come back with another block. The easy solution to this problem is to not upgrade iTunes until there is a fix for version 9. There are other methods you can switch to such as the software the Missing Sync. We will keep you posted on iTunes 9 sync capabilities as soon as they are available.
