App Catalog Gets 6 New Additions!
| by PalmWebOS.org on August 21st, 2009 |
The WebOS App Catalog hasn’t exactly been bustling with new business, but a handful of recent addition should give Palm Pre users reason to rejoice. Six new applications can now be found in the App Catalog:

Here are the applications with a quick overview of each although can probably guess:
Shabbat Shalom
Chances are you’ll only be interested in this application if you’re Jewish, as it helps those practicing Judaism to know the proper times to light candles. Or maybe you’re just interested in religion. Its awesome that such targeted apps are available at our fingertips…
Kosher2Go
Plenty of applications across all platforms help you find restaurants, but Kosher2Go helps you find Kosher restaurants! Again, this is a very niche application but for those who want something like this it could be a really awesome tool.
ESPN Zoom
Attention sports lovers! You know those pub games where you have two pictures side by side and try to spot the differences? This is just like that but the sports edition. I mean what did you expect? It IS branded with ESPN!
Bubbles!
You like popping bubbles? No problem. Stupid if you ask me but to each their own lol!
Mileage Monitor
This is especially could for sales people and travelers who get reimbursed for the mileage they put on their car. This will allow you to easily keep track.
Word Ace
Described as the word version of Texas Holdem
Hopefully we’ll see big additions like these soon. We’re all craving the latest apps but I think part of what is holding WebOS back is the limit of Palm Pre phones in the wild. And I think those things are related. Palm will put out more phones when WebOS is more ready and then the flood will come.
I’ve got my poncho ready!
