Most of the complaints about the Palm Pre are in regard to the build quality with random issues popping up here and there. For example the screen cracking problems, rotation issues and perhaps most importantly the irritating battery problem that caused the device to “wipe out” when the keyboard was closed. On the latter, a small piece of foam was nestled into the battery case to ensure a snug fit at all times:
