Palm is planning on opening a “Pre Experience Store” in August at The Grove Mall in Los Angeles. The design will be an open atmosphere that emulates the outdoors, giving customers an enjoyable and relaxing experience unlike previous Palm retail centers.

You’ll be able to get one-on-one tutorials of the Palm Pre and also group presentations of the device on a large screen. This comes as part of a presenting sponsorship at the Summer Concert Series that takes place every Wednesday outdoors. Artists like Vanessa Carlton, Ashley Tisdale, Michelle Branch and Gavin Rossdale will perform.

Given its a “sponsorship” I’m unsure if they’ll actually be SELLING the Pre or if its more of a informational booth that will just take place during the concert series timeframe. I’m guessing the latter.
