Rough Cut RSS app found in SDK folders
| by Shawn Brown on July 20th, 2009 |
It appears that Palm has given us a new application in a very indirect way through a code sample that is located in the Rough Cuts webOS programming guide. This simple RSS app is said to be a very rough cut indeed as many are having trouble even getting it working properly.
If you’d like to try your hand at it you can head over the Palm’s developer website and download the newly released SDK and check out the code in the sample folder. Many users are having a lot of trouble getting it to work so this is not for those new to this type of thing.
Gotten it to work or have any tips or tricks you could share? Let us know in the comments or in the forums. There are many of us out there trying to do our best but we need all the help we can get with this one.

Hmm, I’d like this, even as-is, if you could click thru thru to the article or even a webpage. Simple rendering seems to look nice in webOS, natively.
