Someone fire these guys!

Last week we were very disappointed to find that the newest Palm Pre ad featured a really creepy woman who did not speak of the pre and just seemed to kill the commercial altogether. The ad didn’t barely showed the Pre and gave us absolutely no information about it at all.

Well this week we have stumbled upon yet ANOTHER one! Why in the world would you create a second version of this ad? This one features the Pre in almost the exact same way as before. The difference in this ad being the woman is facing the right rather than the left. Will someone please fire the group of people responsible for first coming up with this idea in the first place and second for thinking that this ad was the best decision above all other ideas. If anything this advertisement pushes customers away from the Pre. Remind me again what the target audience is?

Someone already did–Jon Rubensteing did right after he became CEO. He fired Palm’s makreting exec and created 2 new marketing roles. I believe these horrid commercials are the work of the old exec.
