palmprecontactsWith the Palm Pre out for little over a month we are finally getting some good user reviews and opinions from extended exposure to Palms savior. The Washington Post finally got their review up and they had some interesting points and angles.

While the App Catalog is still pretty slow and empty they were really impressed with the ease of use with the one tap updating capability for its application. That’s not to say they agreed with the selection which is still halted at just 30 applications. Homebrew development has already passed the 30 application mark.

Some will say it’s the late release of the SDK, other will argue that it is the difficult task of pulling developers from their projects on the iPhone and Android platform. At any rate we are all hoping and praying for a large influx of applications the next time we open up the App catalog. Just when this will be we are still unsure.
