Sometimes leaks happen in some pretty odd ways but a lot of the time they come from site updates that somehow get pushed publicly. This time we came across a section in a Sprint support page that tells us that the NFL Mobile Live application will be hitting the Palm Pre on August 1^st.

This news also hints that the 1^st will be a possible date for other applications as well because usually more than one application or update is added to the App Catalog at one time, however it states that this app will be delivered via an over the air update which is how Palm handles the webOS updates. It looks as if we have pinpointed the day to expect a major OS update.

NFL Mobile Live is similar to Sprint’s NASCAR app in the sense that it gives you live audio as well as video of certain NFL Network games and game statistics. This app will not cost anything more than you are paying now unless somehow you are not paying for data on your device.
