On June 27th the 56th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival Sprint was awarded one of the world’s top advertising prizes for their new Now Network campaign. Apparently when it comes to advertising Sprint really knows what they are doing.

A total of 2,205 entries were submitted worldwide in the Cyber category from which only 208 finalists were selected. Among the submissions were several of the world’s most well-known campaigns. Not only did Sprint take home the Golden Lion, they managed to snag 5 other awards, Supermarket Sweep style. Altogether Sprint took home A Golden Lion, four Silver Lions and a Bronze Lion in the Digital Category.

As if that was not enough, Sprint was the only brand that took home multiple awards within a category. Sprint can add this award to a nice collection of awards from earlier this year including Gold at the Clios, Gold at the New York Festivals, Silver Pencils at the One Show, and winner at the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) Next Awards Show and the D&AD Awards Show. Sprint’s advertising agency, Silverstein & Partners, was chosen as Interactive Agency of the Year at Cannes.
