Palm Pre Already Twittering With Tweed!

Unfortunately, regular folks like you and I don’t have the Palm Pre yet. But the insiders, like Palm VP of PR/Marketing Lynn Fox, not only have the Palm Pre but their twittering their hearts out with it!
One of Lynn Fox’s (@foxycar) recent tweets shows that it was twittered by way of Tweed. If you didn’t know that Tweed is one of the many Twitter apps for the Palm Pre and WebOS… now you do!
Tweed was created by PivotalLabs (@pivotlabs) and the company already has a brand new Twitter account for their new application – @Tweed. I guess they didn’t want the Tweed name to get squatted – while they are actively on the account and twittering from it, they are refusing any details until Saturday:
Another Twitterer, @DoughStackz, has been a bit more liberal with his impressions on he Palm Pre and Tweed. A few status updates highlighted:

If you thought TWEED might be the only Twitter App on the Palm Pre you would be GROSSLY mistaken. Last week Palm’s developer community manager (@chuq) tweeted that over 400 applications have been submitted with the intent to build Twitter apps:
If you follow the link in the “twittered from tweed” links it appears as though PivotalLabs will soon have an area dedicated to their new creation at the following link:

So keep an eye on that link. Also, just FYI, Palm has moved their Twitter account from @palm_inc to @palm so if you want to follow the company make sure to update it!
