The WebOS App Catalog will be Palm’s version of the iPhone App Store, Android Market and BlackBerry App World. The Pre will be successful with or without apps at launch – there are only a doze or so slated initially – but half the fun is watching the apps roll out in the early going. [...]

Palm Pre Built With Alien Technology

by PalmWebOS.org on May 28th, 2009

At the AllThingsD Conference – D7 – Roger McNamee and Jon Rubinstein were introduced with a pretty funny video where Roger is speaking lines for a Palm Pre commercial with Rubinstein getting incredibly angry with his approach: I thought the last line, “The Pre eats the iPhone for Breakfast” was poorly place because Rubinstein’s response [...]

The Palm Pre Will Fail

by PalmWebOS.org on May 28th, 2009

I didn’t say it… and I don’t think it will. But TechCrunch/CrunchGear have written an article, referencing the BGR Palm Pre-view, claiming that the hype is way too high and the actual device will be run-of-the-mill, mediocre and everyone will forget about it in no time. The ONE Thing The Palm Pre Needs

by PalmWebOS.org on May 27th, 2009

There has been so much excitement and noise surrounding the launch of the Palm Pre that nobody has really attempted hone in, focus and boil it down to one fact/feature/issue that the Pre needs to get overwhelmingly right. Part of that is because the phone’s strengths are based on synergy where the combination of the [...]

by PalmWebOS.org on May 26th, 2009

In a development similar to Sky Net of Terminator fame, WebOS is already beginning to take over household appliances and is using them to communicate subliminal messages. For example, AmyMBarrera tweets: I think my oven is sending me subliminal messages! [Via @Palm_Inc]
