Palm Eos Specs Emerge, AT&T Bound
| by PalmWebOS.org on May 26th, 2009 |
Along with loads of other leaked information, EngadgetMobile got their hands on an internal AT&T document that details the next WebOS phone after the Pre… the Palm Eos. While it doesn’t explicitly state it is a WebOS phone we know that Palm OS has reached the end of its life and all future devices, until MUCH further notice, will be based on WebOS.

Some specs and items worth highlighting:
- Quad-band GSM
- 2.63″ inch screen (not too big)
- 320 x 400 resolution with touch window
- 4GB Storage
- 1150 mAh battery
- 2MP camera with Flash
- Video capture capable
- Bluetooth 2.1 w/A2DP
- MicroUSB and USB 2.0
- A-GPS
It looks like the Palm Pre will be the high end of the first two WebOS devices while the Palm Eos will be offer everything great about WebOS at a more affordable price point. And as far as AT&T goes, it appears they want the iPhone to represent their elite high-end offering while filling in their lineup with affordable alternatives in WebOS based Palm Eos and Android based Motorola Heron.
Now we’ve got 2 WebOS phones lined up for 2009… and I know I’m greedy, but I’m already dying to learn about a third.
