In some cases, we look at leaked images, videos, news and more and can’t help but think that the company leaked them on purpose. But in the case of Sprint, at least in regards to the Palm Pre, it appears the scenario is truly, “Homey don’t play that.” According to CrunchGear, at least 3 retail employees have been fired for talking about the Palm Pre outside of the store’s walls.

What exactly did they say? Unless it had to do with price or release date, I’m not sure what sensitive information could have been divulged that would have ANY effect on the company besides one of a positive nature. Unless they were openly bad mouthing the Palm Pre talking about how bad it sucks after they had the chance to play with it… I would love to know the details of these firings so if you’ve got a story – send it in.

So be warned, Sprint employees… the NDAs you signed are being taken quite seriously. Of course, who is to say that these “firings” aren’t simply a fake leak by Sprint in a further (albeit misguided) effort to keep employees mum on any details?
