Fifty-Six-Kay modems how I hate thee. Stuck without a somewhat possibly decent web connection (or cell signal) for more than a couple days, we’ve fallen a tad bit behind on the news. You may have too considering the wonderful weather that graced many parts of “The States” this past weekend so hopefully you’ll appreciate the catching up we’re doing together. Here is everything Palm Pre and WebOS related that you may have missed in the past few days:

Palm Pre $150 According to Analyst Estimates
The two most pressing questions for Pre/WebOS enthusiasts are:

• When?
• How much?

All we have for either are ballpark ranges (1st Half, around $200) and a butt load of opinions. Analysts at Credit Suisse are suggesting that Sprint will price the Palm Pre at $199 after subsidies as fair market value but they’ll likely come to market with an aggresive $150 cost to better compete with the iPhone, Android and BlackBerry. At that price they estimate the Pre will sell 1.3 million units in 2009 and an additional 3 million in 2010. Whether those figures are enough to save either/both companies is a mystery but remember… there will likely be more than just the Pre with WebOS before 2009 is over! [Via TheStreet]

Pre Shows Up On Palm Support Site
The Palm Pre doesn’t yet have a support section for the Palm Pre set up, but the main support page now uses an image of the Palm Pre as the main picture for its Phones support section.
