Another hurdle has been jumped and we’re edging closer to the Palm Pre launch date finish line – Sprint employees are now being trained as to the ins and outs of the Palm Pre! The company obviously wants their staff to be well educated on the device so they can give you, their wonderful customers with plenty of other options, the best insight as to all the great things the Pre can (and cannot) do.
A recent e-mail from Sprint to employees read:
“Employees can expect training to start in April as well as multiple communications to get them excited and ready to help our customers.”
Philip Lam from PreThinking followed up with Sprint and got the following response:
“I would like to inform that Sprint is in the process of providing the training for the new Palm Pre. Once it’s launched, Sprint will be ready to serve their valued customers regarding the Palm Pre.”
This doesn’t provide any concrete evidence as to when the Palm Pre will launch but it does suggest that it will be sooner rather than later. I wouldn’t think, based on this information, that Sprint/Palm would launch the device any later than the end of May – and there is still time left for Jim Van’s April 30th Prediction to ring true. What do YOU think?
