Remember those soothing, black & white Sprint commercials feature Dan Hesse as “every man”, strolling along and chatting about the new world of connectivity? Take whatever market research said that was a good idea, crumble it up, throw it in a fire, take the ashes, spread them in a tornado and then suck the volcano through a black hole because Sprint is going in a COMPLETELY different direction with their new ad campagin.

This isn’t a Palm Pre advertisement by Sprint but rather an overall Sprint branding campaign that subtly features the Palm Pre. Take a look at :27-seconds in and :54-seconds in to see the Pre:

The concept, which shows statistics of a ton of completely random events occuring in rapid fire fashion with the ending quote of, “This is what’s happening now.” isn’t a bad idea. But the way it is presented is a bit flighty to me. Not only that but it directly clashes with the image Sprint attempted to create with the Hesse commercials.

Nonetheless, you asked for Pre so we gave it to you… all 4 seconds of it.
