Remember how we showed you Sprint’s tech specs page for the Palm Pre and how it included “phone as a modem” which is, for all intents and purposes, tethering? Well for one reason or another, Spring has REMOVED the “phone as a modem” portion of the tech specs and one would think its because they are second guessing whether or not to allow tethering and if so, the rules under which it would be allowed:

That sucks. Hopefully they’re is some sort of explanation and they plan on adding it back with an asterick and highlighting terms of tethering and whatnot. But its disappointing regardless. Don’t let us down, Sprint!
